Our Video Room Policy
Mission Statement
Our purpose in the video room aligns with the Great Commission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” — Matthew 28:19–20 (NKJV)
Our goal is to share the truth of the Gospel, which is the love of Christ and salvation through His crucifixion. Everything we do in the video room must support, not distract from, this mission. We are to be critical and careful with anything that might be contrary or counter‑productive.
The Word of the Lord is our guide:
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105
Streaming Policy
Church Discipline: We do not stream moments involving church discipline. Kill the stream immediately after the sermon unless instructed otherwise by pastoral leadership.
Camera & IMAG Policy
IMAG is a term for Image Magnification, a technique in live events to project a magnified, live video feed of a performer or speaker onto large screens so the audience can see details from afar.
Speakers: Speakers, whether behind the podium or freestanding on stage, will be framed using IMAG and will be placed on screens/streams for regular services.
Funerals and Small Services: No IMAG for songs and worship. Speakers will still be placed on screens and streams.
Regular Services: As of 11/25/25, we do not use IMAG regularly. Our primary purpose is archival recording (recording for the purpose of content rather than cinematic values).
When to Use IMAG: IMAG may be used when the atmosphere feels appropriate. This is left to operator discretion, in alignment with pastoral tone and service flow.
Access & Door Codes
Probationary Period: New volunteers who have not previously served in other church ministry areas must complete a 6‑month probation period before receiving the door code.
This period allows new team members to become familiar with the room and team, and builds mutual trust between the new team member and the rest of the team.
